Pancreatic cancer is a bastard that kills most of the people who get it within a year of diagnosis. It lies symptomless in the body, spreading into vital organs and finally showing itself after the damage cannot be corrected. The best thing that can be done, and the most promising area of research currently, is genetic screening of families that have lost members to pancreatic cancer. Please support the research of Dr. Teri Brentnall at the UW Division of Gastroenterology - Pancreatic Cancer Care .
Thing two: None of us dance enough. Patrick Swayze got to dance, but not long enough. Please, forget everything else for a few minutes, including your dignity, and get out there and dance!
